STORIN Conducts Aiten Robot Training to Strengthen Expertise and Project Delivery Readiness

To continuously strengthen its capabilities in planning, implementing, and servicing smart warehousing projects, while deepening its understanding of intelligent logistics equipment and supporting software systems, STORIN recently arranged specialized technical training at its brand partner, Aiten Robot, for colleagues from its solution design, project management, and implementation teams.

Combining theoretical learning, hands-on practice, and assessment, the training aimed to enhance the team’s overall capabilities in the core technologies of material handling robots (AGVs/AMRs), software-based scheduling and dispatching, application scenario configuration, and on-site implementation. These efforts will enable STORIN to deliver integrated smart warehousing solutions with higher standards and greater delivery assurance, supported by efficient deployment, to customers in China and overseas markets, including Japan and Thailand.

 A Deep Dive into Technology: Enhancing Skills Across Every Stage

The training addressed practical challenges in deploying and operating smart warehousing systems. It covered the full technical workflow, from core hardware components to the software used to coordinate and control operations:

Building Strong Technical and Network Foundations: Participants explored the key components of automated guided forklifts (AGFs), including vehicle structure, hardware, controllers, wireless communication modules, interfaces, emergency stop devices, and manual controls, to support reliable connectivity and safe on-site operation.

Developing Hands-on Roboshop Skills: Training covered map creation and management, station and route setup, approach point and charging station configuration, and task sequence development and testing to meet the needs of complex logistics workflows.

Practicing Pallet Detection and Realistic Simulations: Participants learned to configure pallet detection, obstacle avoidance zones, and operating parameters. Realistic simulation exercises helped them prepare equipment to adapt to challenging operating environments.

Coordinating Operations with RDS: Practical sessions covered adding maps and vehicles, configuring storage zones and locations, defining traffic control routes, scheduling tasks through TDS, and issuing tasks via tablets to keep operations running smoothly while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Verifying Skills Through Assessment: The training concluded with a technical assessment for every participant, evaluating both their understanding and their ability to apply what they had learned in practice.
