This project aims to introduce an advanced "materials-to-person" automated system to the raw material warehouse of a leading medical company in Suzhou, comprehensively improving its warehousing operational efficiency and space utilization. This innovative solution is applied to a multi-level storage and handling scenario spanning from the first to the sixth floor. Through an integrated storage and picking system using automated crate robots (ACR), automated mobile robot (AMR), and mini-AMR single-crate handling robots, it aims to create an efficient, intelligent, and interconnected modern raw material supply chain.

Low Warehouse Space Utilization: Existing warehouse space is not being fully utilized, limiting raw material storage capacity and scalability.

Complex SKU Management: Medical raw materials are diverse, with a large number of SKUs, making efficient and accurate classification and location difficult with traditional management methods.

Picking Efficiency Bottleneck: Manual picking is inefficient, time-consuming, and labor-intensive, making it difficult to meet the timely supply needs of the production line.

Multi-Floor Operation Challenges: Complex material flow across floors increases handling difficulty and potential efficiency losses.

Multi-robot collaborative storage and picking system: Utilizes box-type robots for high-density storage and box-level picking; stealth robots enable flexible handling across areas and floors; single-box handling robots handle precise operations for specific small items or special scenarios.

Integrated internal supply chain construction: Creates a fully automated supply chain from AGV automated handling → elevator cross-floor conveying → intelligent warehousing high-density storage and picking → CTU (potentially referring to a specific transport unit or box shuttle) precise picking → final delivery to the workshop or warehouse.

High-efficiency storage capacity: Achieves 9714 storage locations across the entire area, while supporting 360 palletized storage, significantly improving storage density and total capacity.

Significantly improved inbound and outbound efficiency: The system’s inbound and outbound efficiency reaches up to 120 boxes/hour, significantly accelerating the turnover of raw materials and ensuring production line continuity.

Seamless Integration and “Lights-Out Factory”: The intelligent warehousing system achieves 100% seamless integration with existing factory facilities (including elevators, passenger/freight elevators, and lifting doors), ensuring uninterrupted automated processes due to physical barriers. This guarantees the integrity and smoothness of the entire intelligent system, laying a solid foundation for a future “lights-out factory.”

Optimized Space Utilization and Lean Management: Significantly improved warehouse space utilization and enabled refined, automated management of multi-SKU products, reducing operating costs and labor intensity.
