PROJECT BACKGROUND
The manufacturing industry faces four core challenges in warehousing: long, heavy, and diverse product specifications lead to high handling difficulty and safety hazards; and automation upgrades are urgently needed to enhance enterprise competitiveness.
Traditional warehousing methods result in extremely low space utilization; SKU and batch management is complex and requires stringent traceability; and conflicting order processing flows mean that traditional warehousing models relying on manual labor and heavy equipment have become bottlenecks in the supply chain regarding safety, efficiency, accuracy, and cost.
CUSTOMER PAIN POINTS
1. Low space utilization: Large profile dimensions occupy extensive floor space, resulting in low storage efficiency and high costs.
2. Inefficient picking: Frequent “bulk-in, piece-out” requirements lead to cumbersome manual picking processes with low efficiency.
3. Chaotic inventory management: Diverse product types and disorderly stacking cause inaccurate inventory data, making stock-taking and locating goods difficult.
4. High operational risks: Reliance on manual labor and heavy equipment creates high-intensity workloads with significant safety hazards.
SOLUTION CONFIGURATION
A smart aerial sorting warehouse, centered around a spatial logistics gantry robot, has been deployed.
High-precision stacking and zoned placement managementhave tripled the warehouse’s storage density.
Utilizing efficient “bulk in, bulk out” technology, robots can automatically and precisely store, retrieve, and sort aluminum profiles in the air, quadrupling outbound efficiency.
Their independently developed intelligent scheduling system seamlessly integrates with the customer’s ERP system, enabling real-time data connectivity and ensuring overall operational efficiency, accuracy, and stability.
